Styling advice that starts with a goal, not a trend.

OCHI helps people dress for who they want to become. Instead of pushing trends, the app asks for a direction — a role, a season of life, an occasion — and builds outfits from the clothes you already own.

We designed and built the product end to end: the onboarding that captures style intent, the wardrobe model, and the daily outfit planner.

Challenge

Making a fashion app feel personal instead of generic.

Most styling apps show catalogues. The hard part was making recommendations feel like they came from someone who knows you, using only a phone camera and a few minutes of setup.

Approach

A calm interface around an opinionated engine.

We kept the surface quiet — editorial typography, generous spacing, full-bleed imagery — so the clothes carry the screen. Complexity lives in the model, not the UI.

Goal setting, planning and the stylist picker were split into three short flows that can each be finished in under a minute.

Outcome

A daily habit, not a one-off download.

OCHI shipped on the App Store with a complete design system, a native iOS client, and a planner that keeps people coming back each morning.
